Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. is a Californian entertainment company headquartered in Burbank, California and a subsidiary of AT&T's Time Warner. Founded in 1923, it has operations in film, television and video games and is one of the "Big Ten" major American film studios, as well as a member of the Motion Picture Association (MPA).

Warner Bros. Pictures Group[edit | edit source]
Warner Bros. Pictures Group (colloquial: Warner Bros. Pictures; Warner Bros.; Warner; WBPG; WB) is the motion picture division of Warner Bros. Entertainment. It holds the Warner Bros. Pictures, New Line Cinema, DC Studios, Castle Rock Entertainment, and Warner Animation Group brands. It also owns Warner Bros. Animation, Warner Bros. Studio Facilities, and 49% of Flagship Entertainment, shared with Lionsgate's Lionsgate Motion Picture Group division.
WBPG is the largest film distributor in the world. It has distribution deals with other AT&T-owned properties such as Warner Music Group. It also has deals with Village Roadshow Pictures, Amblin Partners, and Lightstorm Entertainment.
WBPG also owns an extensive cartoon library including the Looney Tunes cartoons. Outside of Warner's own library, it owns the Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Animation Group characters, as well as the rights to characters also owned by Time Warner.
Warner Bros. is a major partner of MGM/UA Entertainment, helping finance some of their films in exchange for Warner Bros. distributing some of their television programs.
