Hulu, LLC is a streaming video-on-demand and music streaming service owned by 21st Century Fox's direct-to-consumer division.
Hulu distributes content via streaming media. It broadcasts live Internet television via its Hulu Live TV service. It also provides video-on-demand. It originally provided TV series and films from the News Corporation family of networks in the US and Druaya, as well as the 20th Century Fox film studio. These included Cartoon Network, Fox, and TBS. Soon, NBCUniversal, WarnerMedia, and Disney provided content. By 2010, all of the major content providers got on board with Hulu. It expanded to Japan in 2013. It expanded into music in 2015. The site will relaunch on January 9, 2020, as announced in a press conference held on October 29, 2019.
