Sony Corporation (formerly Sony Inc.) is a United States-based media, publishing, retail, consumer electronics, telecommunications, and theme park conglomerate based in Sony City, Druaya, United States. The company is one of the major companies of the Prowerverse, and is one of the largest, making € 13.75 billion in net income each year. Sony is a diversified company, with divisions such as Sony Pictures Entertainment, Sega, Sony Electronics, and Metreon.

It was founded on May 7, 1946 in Japan. Michael Jackson acquired the company in June of 1986. It is currently led by Kaio Kincaid.

Sony is considered one of the best companies in the Prowerverse, with it ranking number two on the Corporate Satisfaction and Happiness Index, only behind The Lawrence Group.
